I would like to take the leadership feat, and make a wizard or Bard and have it fill the Magister role in the kingdom. I would like also to have followers be in a secret society of magic practitioners who have a secret goal

That's fine. You might also want to have the wizard take craft wonderious items as a feat for a suggestion.
