Calo is one of three Bastard Brothers from House Garess. He has a fourth younger Brother, Alexander, who is the legitimate heir to the house. He and his 2 other Half Elf Brothers share a father, and there mothers were all 3 sisters. I know right, royalty. Calo is the Youngest of the 3 Elven Brothers, and the most idealistic. At a very Young age he was drawn in by a Charismatic Man by the name of Doland Frond. Doland Sought to unite the sword nation under a single banner of freedom. When Doland met Calo he saw a lot of himself in him, and took him in as his pupil. Doland passed on everything he knew as a Cavalier, and Introduced Calo to his best and now longest Friend Credo, a bay Westphalian Standing 16.6 hands weighing just over 1200lbs. Soon Doland and Calo traveled together, Doland began being more open with his ideals. At first it was just meetings to discuss change, but as Doland grew more ardent of the cause so did his base grow. It wasn't long before the word Revolution came up. Soon Credo and Calo Went to war against the Sword lords to bring about change. The war was Brutal and Short, several Sword lords, Including Calo's own father recognized the threat Doland Frond posed to them and united there forces to quash this threat. The revolutionaries fought hard, but to no avail against the unprecedented united lords. Only 2 years after taking up arms along side his mentor, Calo watched Doland swing in the Gallows. Calo was spared Execution, and spent the next 12 years in a prison. His father spared him, and made sure he served a lighter sentence, but made him serve, to teach him a lesson. Upon Leaving prison he received the brand marking him for life as a convicted Enemy of the state, made getting work hard. Calo spent the next few years drifting about tell he found an old friend from childhood, who put him back on the path, Grom Garrorh, but that`s another story for another time. After it all Calo Sought out his brothers and some old friends, Francis a Gnome from his home town he and his brothers would bail out from the bullies, and his 2 favorite teachers from school, a pair of dwarfs, Grimm and Isidore. Together again They struck out on a new Adventure.
